Once a year our Dolphins travel the distance over hill, over dale, through bush, through briar, over park and over pale to take on the challenge of rowing on the Orange River. This year was no exception as our daring students lined up in the early hours of the morning to start their week of fun, excitement and grand adventure. The Felix Unite group welcomed all with a quick orientation and a crash course in the fine art of rowing through the river rapids. The students’ courage never wavered and they cast off in teams of two. Their journey tested their courage, their compassion and their strength of will and all passed with flying colours. After a week of rowing nearly 15 kilometres we all went home the stronger and wiser for our time away.
